Aidan Kane

Software & Hardware Developer

I run Made by Kane full-time, where I build websites, mobile apps, and internal tools for small- to medium-sized businesses.

I also enjoy creating things that solve my problems and seeing if others want them. They typically stem from my interests in reading, running, and spending as little time on my phone as possible.

Life Mission

Experience the best the world has to offer and leave it in a better place than if I were not here.

• Running two marathons and raising $6K+ for cancer research

2023 & 2025

• Completing 25+ projects for clients at my full-time tech consulting company

2023-Present

• Launching a standalone physical AI reading assistant product, starting a local book club to learn more about others' reading habits, and earning $1200 in revenue since April launch

2026

• Being really good at spelling

2002-Present

• Inspiring more people to use AI to solve their own problems

• Exciting people to read more

• Helping people use technology more intentionally

Miscellaneous Side Projects

Developer

2025

I often create internal tools to make my life better. Feel free to reach out for the code if you want one of these for your own use

Notable Projects

•Social Media Poster: A personal iOS app that posts to each of my social media accounts without having them on my phone
•Uptime: A personal iOS app where I set a daily habit and the number of days in a row I want to complete it, then with each completed day, a circle in the center interpolates from red to green and gets progressively bigger. Simple yet effective
•Connector: A personal iOS app that sends notes and ideas that I have to my Rove while I'm away from home during the day. My Apple Notes and Notion were inundated with files, so I wanted a single place to store these -- and it's great to get home to check on them at the end of the day
•TLDRead: An AI-enabled Chrome extension that allows you to ask questions about what's on your current tab. Essentially what the "Ask Gemini" button in the top right of Chrome does now, but I made it in March 2024 (😎)
